When listing the pests that cause the most trouble for producers and landowners, Weeds are Number 1.  Weed management can be a challenge, given the value of the crop or rangeland, the cost of chemical and mechanical control, and the different life cycles of the many different weeds, and last but not least, managing the weeds while still protecting the environment.  The key to successful control of weeds is the use of Integrated Management  techniques, a philosophy that combines the best  strategies, tools, and techniques.

This page focuses on Integrated Management of some key Oklahoma weed species.  Visit this site as a starting point for educational material, contact names, and calendar of events.
