Extension (90 %):
I am coordinator for the OSU IPM program which assists stakeholders in developing IPM programs through extension education. I am also the extension entomologist for small grains and turf. I developed, along with Dr. Kris Giles and Dr. Norm Elliott the "Glance 'n Go" sequential sampling system for greenbugs in winter wheat. I also participated in the development of the Cereal Aphid Expert System that can assist growers in determining a treatment threshold for greenbugs.
Research (10%):
Interests include aphid and scarab beetle biology, integrated pest management in cereals and turf, insecticide efficacy, sampling, injury thresholds, insect/plant interactions.
