Current Assignment:

Extension (90 %):
I am the state coordinator for IPM Oklahoma! the Extension program that serves as a resource developing Integrated Pest Management plans for various stakeholders throughout Oklahoma. I am also the extension entomologist for small grains, sorghum and oilseed crops. I developed, in collaboration with Dr. Kris Giles and Dr. Norm Elliott, the "Glance 'n Go" sequential sampling system for greenbugs in winter wheat. I also contributed to the development of the Cereal Aphid Expert System that can assist growers in determining a treatment threshold for greenbugs.

Research (10%):
My interests include aphid and scarab beetle biology, integrated pest management in cereals and turf, insecticide efficacy, sampling, injury thresholds, insect/plant interactions and biological control.
